Suspension bridge
A bridge with the roadway suspended from cables or chains slung between towers or pylons.
Swag
Ornament in the form of drapery suspended from both ends. Compare festoon.
Swan-neck pediment
A broken pediment with double-curved sides.
System building
System of manufactured units assembled on site. Also called industrial building.
Tabernacle
Canopied structure in a church or chapel to contain the reserved sacrament or a relic. Also an architectural frame for an image or statue.
Table tomb
Memorial slab raised on free-standing legs.
Tas-de-charge
(French): The lower courses of a vault or arch which are laid horizontally.
Tempietto
(Italian, little temple): A small temple-like building, usually round and domed.
Temple front

The front features of a portico applied to a wall; also called a blind portico.
