- A short article on Edward Salamons by Rhona Beenstock appears in Manchester Region History Review, Vol. 10 1996.
- The Transactions of the Lancashire and Cheshire Antiquarian Society, Vol. 92-3 1997 was devoted to subjects relating to the Manchester Diocese including a study of Cachemaille-Day's Manchester churches by Michael Bullen.
