This is a selection of sources for further reading and other material about Webster.

The only published source on Webster is ""A brief history of the firm of architects founded in Sheffield c. 1865 by John Dodsley Webster"", by Stephen Welsh, 1963. This is a biographical note and list of the principal works but does not, however, include any of Webster's residential work. A typescript is held in the Local Studies Library, Sheffield Central Library.
